Associate Professor Peter Smith BMedSci, MBBS, FRACP, PhD - Medical Director
Dr Peter Smith completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tasmania and went on to complete physician training specialising in Paediatrics in South Australia. He then undertook a PhD in molecular immunology at Flinders University. From 1999-2001 he worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London as a consultant in Allergy as well as holding a position in medical education at University College, London. Dr Smith returned to Australia where he now runs his clinical practice in allergy at Southport (Queensland). He is an associate professor in Clinical Medicine at Bond and Griffith Universities. He owns a medical education company which has won several national and international awards in multimedia.

Dr Smith is a member and works on subgroup committees of the American Academy of Asthma Allergy and Immunology, the World Allergy Organisation, and the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. He is also a member of the European Academy of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. Further to this he is on two international and three national advisory boards as well as being recently appointed to the Australian Skin Care Consensus Board. His current research is on the genetics of food allergy and eczema as well as the mechanisms of eosinophilic oesophagitis.

Dr Graeme Langsford BSc, MBBS, FRACS - Clinical Director
Dr Langsford completed his Medical undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales, together with a science degree in physiology. He undertook his surgical training in London and Australia.

Dr Langsford has a major interest in skin cancer education and has been responsible for teaching at an undergraduate and post graduate level. He has been associated with the establishment and delivery of protocols, learning and skill objectives for various Australian Skin Cancer groups.

Dr Langsford is a member of the melanoma group of COSA and remains committed to the furtherance of skin cancer management and education for all Australian doctors.

Dr Bill Anseline BSc (Hons), BMed (Newcastle) - Research and Education Director
Dr Bill Anseline completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science majoring in genetics and biochemistry at Newcastle University, New South Wales. Whilst working as a general practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer he solely founded one of Australia’s largest chains of skin cancer clinics. He currently practices and runs an independent skin cancer and medical skin repair clinic on the Gold Coast.

Dr Anseline is passionate about giving doctors the tools and knowledge to not only diagnose and treat skin cancer and sun damage but also to repair, protect and educate their patients.

Dr Anseline’s vision has been to develop a state of the art training and research program which provides a turnkey medical skin repair and education system. The first of its kind concept allows Australian doctors (both procedural and non procedural), access to non-invasive medical skin repair treatments along with technical and educational support.

Dr Martin Braun MD, CCFP (EM) - Laser and PDT Director
Dr Martin Braun completed his medical degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada in 1984 before going on to complete his core surgical training at Vancouver General Hospital. He subsequently became certified to practice both Family and Emergency Medicine.

After working extensively in both areas for more than 15 years, in 1996 in response to rising demand for medically supervised cosmetic rejuvenation procedures, Dr. Braun has devoted his practice exclusively to this area of skin repair. As a pioneer and leader in photodynamic therapy and laser medicine, Dr. Braun has the distinction of being the first doctor in Canada to perform laser hair removal over 12 years ago.

A Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Braun has trained physicians at the forefront of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic laser medicine. Dr Braun is based in Canada and travels extensively internationally giving lectures on the latest innovations in PDT, laser, medical skin repair and management.

Dr James S Rowe, B.Pharm, M.Sc, Ph.D - Scientific Director
Dr Rowe graduated with a BPharm from Sydney University, and went on to complete a MSc and a PhD at the University of London. He also completed a Pharmaceutical Compounding Course at the University of Florida.

Dr Rowe has worked with the world’s leading pharmaceutical and product development companies including Abbott Laboratories, ER Squibb & Sons Ltd, Eli Lilly & Co and Research Division of Riker Laboratories.

Throughout Dr Rowe’s career he has been director of HR Health Care Ltd, CoPharm Pty Ltd, Dermatest Pty Ltd, TCS Pharmacy and NxGen Pharmaceuticals. Dr Rowe is experienced in patents and providing expert advice for industry and legal issues.

Daryll Knowles, B. Pharm M.P.S.F.A.P.P.F - Director of Pharmaceuticals
Mr Daryll Knowles has a BPharm from Sydney University and has more than 20 years compounding experience. He is also a graduate of PCCA Aseptic Techniques and Primary Training Course (Texas, USA). He was a retail pharmacist for 25 years during which time he was awarded AIPM Pharmacy Manager of the Year in 1995.

Mr Knowles is currently the CEO of NxGen Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd and a Board member of AustralAsian Association of Anti-Ageing Medicine (A5M). He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacists. Additionally he is a Life Fellow of the Australian Pharmacy Practice Foundation. He is a Don at both Sydney University and University of Queensland and has been an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Pharmacy since 2009 (AFACP).

Mr Knowles is the owner of Australian Custom Pharmaceuticals, Australia’s largest compounding only pharmacy.

Ric Williams – Research & Development Manager

Ric was educated in Sydney obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Pure and Applied Chemistry from the University of New South Wales and a Diploma of Environmental Studies from Macquarie University.

Ric has 40 years experience in the industry after working for various companies, starting with Sterling Pharmaceuticals in 1969 and including Colgate-Palmolive, S.C.Johnson & Son, Lever-Rexona, Medical Research P/L, Virbac/Vetsearch International, and the Australian pharmaceutical company F.H.Faulding & Co. Ltd. just to name a few, as well as operating his own consultancy business for many years.

Ric was a Council Member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists for a total of 14 years and is currently on their Technical Committee for which he has served since 1985.

Ric is currently a committee member (formulation expert), on the Cosmetic Advisory Committee, to the director of NICNAS (a division of the Federal Department of Health) and a technical advisor to Vogue magazine.

He has presented many lectures and workshops at national conferences of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ASCC); Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia (APAA); Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical Special Interest Group (CAPSIG) and also beauty collages nationwide.

Ric Williams brings a world of therapeutic and cosmeceutical chemistry knowledge to Allmedic operations.
